Welcome to William Parker School
William Parker Students continue to go from strength to strength.
Students and staff were all exceptionally pleased with this year’s superb GCSE results. All the hard work, dedication and effort from the students, staff and parents has paid off resulting in yet another bumper crop of GCSE’s.
The number of students achieving the new gold standard is the second highest in the school’s history at 53%. This is an excellent achievement for a truly comprehensive school and supports what Ofsted confirmed recently; this is a rapidly improving school.
Many individual student performances were outstanding, gaining A* and A’s for every subject entered, but more importantly the majority of students met their potential. This means they are now able to take that next important step into sixth form, training or work.

Specialist College
As the only Humanities College in Northamptonshire, William Parker School has become a centre of excellence for Daventry and District. We provide training facilities to develop skills and life long learning with a focus on adult literacy and language skills. Our aim is to achieve a seamless transition between all the phases of education.
The school has a proven track record of working in partnership within the community and our Specialist Status has provided a clearly defined role for us.
Our role is not only to invest in achievement, but also to widen horizons about the world beyond Daventry. Students have become facilitators within primary schools and have the opportunities to be mentored by business colleagues. They are able to relate their learning in school to the opportunities that employers provide both locally and internationally through our links with schools in Africa and Japan.
Our vision incorporates personalised learning, a flexible college day, flexible staffing and effective communication technology. We aim to be a sustainable, global college with national and international partners.
